Checkmate (a division of Lockton Group) is a structural warranty provider serving developers and builders across the UK. With cost factors limiting the number of on-site inspections possible on any project they wanted to review the use of how technology could help them manage risk and help guide their clients towards a compliant build.
Previously, on-site staff captured photos with DSLR cameras and uploaded them to a cluttered, unstructured project database. The result was inconsistent documentation, uploaded after the time that action could be taken, with limited traceability and costly inefficiencies. To address this, Checkmate partnered with Sonin to create REDI, a bespoke app that gives surveyors the tools to capture structured, real-time insights and gives head office full visibility from day one.
