Building the right web application starts before the build

Sonin builds complex, scalable web applications for enterprise organisations. Since 2009, we’ve worked across financial services, healthcare, property, and utilities, developing a precise understanding of what makes enterprise web applications succeed in practice, not just in deployment.

We invest time understanding your business before we invest time building your product. That means fewer assumptions carried into the build, faster delivery, and a web application your organisation is prepared to use from day one.

Web application types

Sonin’s web app capability covers complex, data-intensive enterprise applications, not template-based builds. The common thread is delivery inside regulated industries with compliance requirements, legacy system dependencies, and distributed user groups.

Internal enterprise tools

Workflow automation, case management platforms, and operational dashboards that replace manual processes across large, distributed teams.

Customer-facing portals

Self-service platforms in financial services, healthcare, and property, where compliance, security, and adoption are equally critical.

SaaS platforms

Multi-tenant web applications built for commercial distribution, including subscription management, usage analytics, and scalable infrastructure.

Data & reporting platforms

Complex data visualisation and reporting tools that surface meaningful insight from enterprise data, built for users who aren’t analysts.

Paratus

Turning Complex Insurance Logic into a Business-Critical Digital Client Portal

Sonin partnered with Paratus to design and deliver a secure, high-performance digital platform for specialist insurance and renewable energy risk.

FAQs

01 Do we have to start with Discovery, or can we bring an existing brief?

You can bring an existing brief. Sonin will review it and be direct about whether we think it’s ready to build against. If the discovery work has already been done rigorously, we’ll tell you. If it hasn’t, or if there are gaps, we’ll say what we think needs resolving before the build begins. Most teams find the diagnostic process surfaces at least one assumption worth testing before a budget is committed.

02 How does Sonin handle integration with existing enterprise systems?

System integration is scoped during Discovery. Sonin has experience integrating with Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, and a range of custom legacy infrastructure. Where documentation is incomplete or the integration complexity is genuinely uncertain, we say so, and build an investigation phase into the early sprint cycle rather than committing to a fixed estimate that won’t hold.

03 What happens after the web app goes live?

Sonin’s Product Success programme covers the post-launch period: adoption monitoring, user feedback analysis, performance optimisation, and a roadmap for continuous improvement. Go-live is not the point at which value is delivered, adoption is. That is why post-launch support is part of every proposal, not an optional add-on.

04 We’ve had a bad experience with a previous agency. How is Sonin different?

The most common failure mode in web app projects isn’t technical, it’s a build that began before the problem was properly understood. Sonin’s Discovery process is designed specifically to prevent that. We also work with full transparency: your team has access to the codebase, attends sprint reviews, and reviews everything before it’s shipped. If something is going to be complex or delayed, you hear about it from us before you see it on a status report.
