After our recent win at the Digital Entrepreneur Awards 2017, we’re thrilled to announce we’ve been named as finalists for two more awards! We’ve been nominated for both ‘App Agency of the Year’ and ‘App Developer of the Year’ in the UK App Awards 2017. Above all, the UK App Awards celebrate excellence in apps.
App Agency of the Year
As a digital agency, it’s essential we remain at the forefront of technology. And the ‘App Agency of the Year’ award recognizes this. Highlighting agencies like ours that truly push the boundaries of digital. The expert judges of the UK App Awards will be looking for agencies that push for innovation in an excellent company culture.
One of the key drivers to our digital growth is Sonin Create. So we could dedicate some of our time to think, innovate and create something new with the latest, cutting-edge technology. As a result, we’ve developed a wide range of prototypes including chatbots, beacons, voice recognition & AI. Due to our work through Create, we’ve been able to prove that opportunities technology brings to businesses today. And these proof of concepts show how the latest technology can integrate into an app. So this gives our clients, both new and existing, the insights they need to utilise it.
App Developer of the Year
Furthermore, our lead developer Charlie Tapping is up for ‘App Developer of the Year.’ This award recognizes individuals who’ve been behind the development of incredible and innovative apps.
During his 3 years at the agency, Charlie’s gone from a junior developer to lead developer at only 26 years old. Since joining Sonin, Charlie has driven the business forward and been a key factor in its rapid growth. In fact, within the last twelve months alone, Charlie has doubled the number of developers working at Sonin, taking the team from 6 to 12.
Also, Charlie is always pushing himself to expand his knowledge and skills, both inside and outside of work. And from this, we’ve been able to take on new and exciting projects. Above all, Charlie’s a great example of our core values: We Understand, We Care, We Never Stop Thinking.
