Sonin has been appointed by Unigold as the software development partner for a unified digital platform commissioned by a leading international Facilities Management Company (FMC) to enhance operational visibility and service delivery across healthcare environments.
The FMC retained Unigold as its accredited technology partner to deliver the integrated hardware and software solution. As part of this programme, Unigold appointed Sonin to design and build the application layer of the platform, bringing specialist expertise in user-centred product development and software engineering.
Designed Around Real Healthcare Workflows
The development of the integrated healthcare operations platform was shaped by extensive discovery work conducted in healthcare settings. Teams spent time observing live ward environments and speaking directly with frontline staff to understand the operational pressures, compliance requirements, and practical realities of day-to-day service delivery.
These insights informed the software’s structure, workflows, and interface design. The goal was not simply to digitise existing processes, but to create a platform that improves clarity, accountability, and ease of use in complex, regulated environments.
Building the Software Experience
The integrated healthcare operations platform enables the FMC’s teams to manage tasks, access documentation, receive site-specific updates, and evidence work completion through a single, intuitive interface.
Sonin were responsible for the design and development of the application within the accredited delivery framework established by Unigold, ensuring it integrates seamlessly with Unigold’s certified kiosk hardware to provide secure and reliable access at the point of service. The result is a solution that combines compliant infrastructure with a carefully considered user experience built for frontline teams.

Because the solution would operate within healthcare settings, security and data governance were non-negotiable. All personnel supporting the programme were security cleared.
